Refund Policy

Important Notice

Each project is governed by an individual work contract between the client and Willem Hendrik Design. That contract outlines the full legal terms, including the refund policy applicable to your specific project.

The information below is provided as a general policy notice only. It is not a contract. Your contractual refund terms will be reviewed and agreed upon during the proposal stage and confirmed in writing once Willem Hendrik Design’s services are officially retained.

Scope of Services

Willem Hendrik Design provides virtual and remote interior design services only. No physical goods, products, or items are exchanged. Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Digital visual renderings

  • Moodboards

  • Sketches

  • Floorplans

  • Architectural drawings

  • Administrative specification sheets

  • Curated sourcing and curation lists

Billing Structure

Clients may engage Willem Hendrik Design on an hourly basis or through a retainer agreement. All design work delivered is considered final.

Termination of Services

Either party may terminate the project at any time by providing 30 days’ written notice. Upon termination:

  • All work completed up to the termination date will be delivered to the client.

  • Any funds not allocated or used will be refunded after a reconciliation of hours worked and services completed.

  • Any outstanding fees or invoices owed to Willem Hendrik Design must be paid in full within seven (7) business days.

No Refund Situations

Refunds are not available under the following circumstances:

  • If the design fee budget has been depleted due to extensive or unlimited client-requested revisions, unlimited 3D renderings, or indefinite timeframes resulting from client indecision.

  • If the client fails to use or implement the design work provided.

  • Once services have been rendered (e.g., moodboards, renderings, drawings, or specifications delivered), as these constitute digital work products that cannot be returned.

Client Responsibility

Clients acknowledge that all services provided by Willem Hendrik Design are digital and professional in nature. Any changes to scope, revisions, or extended timelines must be communicated promptly. Willem Hendrik Design reserves the right to decline additional revisions or scope changes outside the agreed-upon budget.
