Why Online Interior Design?

You have design ideas but don’t know how to execute them. You are creative but struggle to bring the final moment to life! You know the styles you like but don’t know how to make them work together. Most importantly, you have a budget. You don’t want to overpay on markups and hourly design fees and be stuck in a design contract where you have to purchase everything through your designer. You want flexibility and need a vision before tackling the big makeover.

Using the expert skills of an online interior designer, virtual room design is no different from having the designer with you in person. Connecting virtually through video, phone calls, and email using stellar collaboration tools gives me the ability to capture your space, measurements, and inspiration and deliver a design plan, 3D photo-realistic rendering, and shopping list so you can achieve the same exact design outcome as if I was there with you in person.

How Long Is The Process?

This is the stellar part of virtual interior design. Once you complete my design questionnaire and pay for your desired Design Service, the process kicks off. It runs for about 1-3 weeks, depending on the space and complexity of the order.

What does the process entail? 

We kick off with a design questionnaire. You gather your room photos and measurements. I then build your design profile and create a mood board and color palette. We collaborate, and once approved, I make your 3D Photo-realistic rendering of the same space fully styled and designed. When that is approved, I create your design pack that includes the floorplan, 3D rendering, and a shopping list for the sourced items in the design.

Do you only work with specific vendors? 

No, that is the best part! Based on your budget, I help you source from anywhere. It is about finding what works for you and your space. If I have a trade discount with a vendor, I will pass it on to you for additional savings. 

Do you do project management too? 

Only when I design full service in Oregon, where I am located. The virtual design makes you the project manager. You'll already know what to do if you are a D.I.Y. Ninja. If not, you can hire a licensed, qualified contractor to perform any service required. In some cases, I can recommend folks to work with. You will only need these professional services if we knock out a wall or install new flooring or a backsplash. Most design projects include paint, new lighting, and well-curated furnishings. That alone makes a big visual difference.
