Entranceway Interior Design - Virtual Interior Design

This contemporary entranceway interior design project was done in a moody style using dark wood elements with an accent wall and ceiling, creating an ideal space for entering the otherwise all-white house. I chose a black door to accent the black-framed windows, and instead of just doing one accent wall, I took the color to the ceiling. I used a textured stucco on the wall, then did a suggested paint-over with a dark green color resulting in a rich color concrete effect.

A large round gold mirror hangs above a black table with two wood blocks underneath. These look great but also function as seating when putting on shoes. A custom-designed coat rack in the back corner serves as a sculptural piece when not in use. I used a black/white distressed runner on the floor and added some framed art prints on the narrow whitewall column leading into the rest of the house.

Finally, I went with a glass leave chandelier to soften the space.
