The Bali Black Moody Home Office

This Bali-inspired moody home office interior design project called for rustic, raw organic textures in all elements, contrasted with the soft matte black wall on all four walls and the ceiling. I kept things primarily natural in this room, using only complementary wood elements. Two vintage rustic wood hutches stand on either side of a midcentury modern office desk. A vintage mid-century modern chair provides comfortable and perfect desk seating.

The sofa and chairs all incorporate raw white and light gray color tones mixed with wood. I went with another reclaimed wood round coffee table on a handwoven round rug in the middle. To break the organic wood feel, I hung a long single antique brass pendant on the right of the desk. Enough to flood the desk with light. I went with a sizeable glamorous gold two-tiered chandelier to center the room. The window drapings remain in the natural tone spectrum with soft faded Terragon Velvet drapes.
